Small business websites · Northern Ireland

A proper website
for your business.
From £595.

Tell me about your business and I'll take care of the website. You don't need an agency, a complicated process or weeks of meetings.

No templates, no lock-in, no nonsense.

You probably don't want to become a web designer.

You just need a website that makes your business look professional, explains what you do and gives customers an easy way to get in touch.

Maybe you don't have a website yet. Maybe the one you've got is years out of date. Or maybe you've tried building one yourself and it's been sitting half-finished for months.

Whatever the reason, getting a decent website shouldn't turn into another job for you.

You run your business.
I'll sort the website.

You give me the information about your business. I'll work out how to structure it, design it, build it and get it online.

Tell me what you need →

Everything a straightforward business website needs.

No arbitrary page limits and no list of technical extras you shouldn't have to understand. I'll build the website around what your business actually needs.

Designed for your business
A bespoke design that suits your business — not a generic template with your logo dropped into it.
Built to get enquiries
Clear ways for customers to call, email or send an enquiry without hunting around for what to do next.
Works properly on phones
Your website will be designed and tested across phones, tablets and computers.
Ready for Google
I'll take care of the technical foundations, including site structure, page titles and descriptions, performance and local search fundamentals.
The technical stuff handled
Domain setup, SSL, enquiry forms and launch are taken care of. If you choose Website Care, I'll continue looking after the technical side once you're live.
It's yours
Your domain belongs to you. Once the build is paid for, the finished website is yours too. If you decide to move elsewhere in future, I won't hold either hostage.

Need ecommerce, bookings, online payments, customer accounts or something more involved? Tell me what you need and I'll quote for it separately.

Professional doesn't have to mean agency prices.

The £595 price isn't about cutting corners. It's possible because I've deliberately made this a focused service for straightforward small-business websites.

There are no account managers, sales teams or layers of agency overhead to pay for.

  • You deal directly with me.
  • The scope is focused.
  • The process is standardised.

And because I'm not trying to squeeze every possible kind of website into the same package, I can keep the process efficient and the price sensible.

If your business needs something more sophisticated, that's fine too. I'll scope and price it separately.

  • Online shops and payments
  • Booking systems
  • Customer accounts
  • Integrations with the tools you run on
  • Bespoke functionality built around your business

Tell me what the business needs and I'll scope and price it properly.

Whichever option you choose, you own your website and domain.

From “I need a website” to live.

No agency runaround. Just a straightforward process.

  1. Tell me about your business

Once you're ready to go, I'll send you a straightforward questionnaire covering your business, services, customers and what you want the website to achieve.

    No endless discovery meetings.

  2. I design and build it

You send me the information, logo and photographs I need. I'll work out the structure, turn your information into website-ready content and build the complete site.

You don't need to write a design brief. That's my job.

  3. You review it

I'll show you the complete first version rather than asking you to approve every little decision along the way.

You send me one consolidated list of any changes you'd like, and I'll complete the included revision round.

  4. We get it live

Once everything is complete and the final balance is paid, I'll take care of getting the website online.

Most straightforward small-business websites can be ready within 1–2 weeks once I have everything I need.

Deal directly with the person building your website.

I'm Drew McMaster.

When you get in touch, you're talking to me. I'm the person who will design and build your website.

There's no account manager passing messages to a designer, no work disappearing off to an anonymous team and no support department once the website is live.

If you've got a question, you ask me.

Local web design

Based in Northern Ireland. Working with businesses across it.

Whether you're in Ballyclare, Antrim, Belfast, Newtownabbey, Carrickfergus, Ballymena, Larne, Lisburn or somewhere in between, you and I don't need to be sitting in the same room to build a great website together.

Most of the process can be handled by email or phone, keeping things straightforward and unnecessary meetings out of your diary.

The website

What's included in the £595 website?

Everything needed for a straightforward professional business website: bespoke design and build, mobile optimisation, contact functionality, local SEO fundamentals and launch.

The structure is based on what your business actually needs rather than an arbitrary number of pages.

Can I update the website myself?

The £595 Small Business Website is designed to be managed for you rather than giving you a content-management system.

If you need to regularly add or edit projects, news, team members, menus or other content yourself, that is what the Business Website covers, from £995.

What do I need to provide?

I'll need the basic information about your business and services, your contact details and any existing logo, photographs, testimonials or other material you'd like to use.

You don't need to turn everything into polished website copy first. Give me the information and I'll help shape it into something suitable for the site.

Can you replace my existing website?

Yes. If you simply need an old website replaced with a new one, that's completely normal.

If you need an existing WordPress installation, database, large content archive or other technical system migrated, let me know. That may need a separate quote.

Can you build an online shop or booking website?

Yes, but those aren't part of the £595 Small Business Website.

If you need ecommerce, online payments, booking systems, customer accounts or bespoke functionality, tell me what the business needs and I'll quote for it separately.

How long does it take?

Most straightforward small-business websites can be ready within 1–2 weeks once I've received everything I need from you.

Money and ownership

Why is there a £29 monthly payment?

Website Care covers the ongoing service after your website launches, including managed hosting, one standard domain renewal, SSL, monitoring, technical upkeep, support and reasonable small changes to existing content.

The initial term is 12 months. After that it continues monthly and can be cancelled.

Do I own my website and domain?

Yes.

Your domain is registered to you, not me. Once the agreed build has been paid for, the finished website is yours too, subject to the normal terms covering reusable development tools and components.

If you leave Website Care, I don't hold your website or domain hostage.

Is there an option without Website Care?

Yes. The Independent Website is £795 one-off.

I'll build the website and arrange the agreed deployment or handover. You then take responsibility for ongoing hosting, domain renewals and maintenance.

Domains and email

I already own a domain. Can you use it?

Absolutely.

I'll check how it's currently configured and handle the website-related setup. If the domain is also being used for business email, I'll take care not to disturb the existing email configuration during launch.

Do you provide business email?

Email hosting and mailbox subscriptions aren't included in Website Care.

If you already use a service such as Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace, I can configure the website-related DNS around it.

Let's get yours sorted

Tell me about your business.

You don't need a technical brief. Just tell me what your business does, whether you already have a website and what you'd like the new one to do.

No spam. No sales calls. Just a proper reply.
